Working with People

To be honest, I'm not really a people person. I was once employed supervising adults with developmental disabilities, and although I got good reviews from both my employer and my clients, I had to quit after several months—and not just because that was the usual job duration for me. Let's just say I'm very happy there are people who like this and other social work. Being a convention host, collection agent, and sample distributor definitely involved dealing with a lot of people, and these jobs served their purpose for me, too, but I noticed that unlike myself, other employees truly loved the fact that they got to work with people so much.

If you're like them, this section has some interesting selections for you. Did you know that you can travel the world teaching people English, or make a business of helping senior citizens move into new homes? You can also be a bartender on a cruise ship or help people organize their garages and closets. Some of these jobs and businesses have real income potential as well.
